It looks like Marvel isn’t able to keep the filming of Spider-Man Homecoming low-profile. Earlier this month, Tom Holland sparked fans’ interest for the movie by uploading a selfie wearing the costume. Now, fans have barged into sets to take photos of the cast in action.
The images below give us a better look at Tom Holland’s suit. The character is seen strapped on for some Spidey stunts. It seems like the set was dedicated to a part of an action sequence for the movie.
Some set photos seem to have been shot by a fan. However, we got a closer look at Tom Holland without his costume, thanks to JustJared.
Jacob Batalon was also spotted on the set filming a scene along with Holland.
There were rumors last week suggesting that Jacob was cast for the role of Ned Leeds. But there seemed to be no official confirmation until now.
According to Marvel Comics, Ned Leeds works beside Peter Parker as a reporter for Daily Bugle. The character takes on the villainous role of Hobgoblin. You can check out the set images here.
Last week, there were reports saying 15-year-old Angourie Rice was confirmed in Spider-Man Homecoming. Rumors say she could play the role of Gwen Stacy, Peter Parker’s high school classmate and love interest. Spider-Man Homecoming is scheduled to release on July 7, 2017 in the USA.
In other news, Marvel has revealed its schedule for the San Diego Comic-con.
