Spider-Man Homecoming New Set Image, Release Date, Cast Updates Here
Spider-Man Homecoming could probably be the perfect version Marvel Cinematic Universe has been waiting for. Although Tom Holland as Peter Parker was criticized by some fans, his appearance in Captain America: Civil War cleared the air for the audience.Advertisement
The movie will be released one year from now. While it’s certainly a long wait, we deserve some teasers from Spider-Man Homecoming until then. Fortunately, Tom Holland understands Marvel fan club.
Earlier today, the 20-year-old actor took the time to upload a selfie on Instagram. The image shows Tom Holland in the Spider-Man suit, hanging on to something sturdy in the sky. You can check out the image below.
While Tom Holland may have looked weak and lean in Captain America: Civil War as Spider-Man, the actor has been hitting the gym a lot lately for his movie. Holland has picked up serious boxing skills, which have also helped him develop his newly transformed ripped physique. However, he’s going to have to gain more strength than that to pick up Captain America’s shield again.
In other news, Movie Pilot has confirmed that Angourie Rice has been cast for Spider-Man Homecoming. But we still don’t have details on the character she has been chosen to play.
While some of us would wait for an official announcement from Marvel, Movie Pilot has already gone one step ahead to speculate it. Judging Rice’s blond hair and her youthful appearance, could it be possible that the 15-year-old actress will be Gwen Stacy?
Rice may be too young to play the role of Gwen. But the story is set at the time when Peter Parker is still in high school. So, plot-wise she would be the perfect cast to be Tom Holland’s class mate and future girl friend. Spider-Man Homecoming will be released on July 7th, 2017 in USA.
