Currently, The Russo Brothers are in the loop with Jon Watt’s film. Furthermore, it looks like they also have some positive opinion to share on the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming as well.
According to Comicbook.com the Russo Brothers said, “[Joe and I] love [Jon Watts], we think he’s an incredibly talented filmmaker, super bright guy.” “He’s crazy talented, the script is amazing, and we have really high expectations for the movie.”
“I think the tone and the direction that he’s heading in that movie are fantastic. I think it has the potential to be the best Spider-Man yet, and I know that’s saying a lot because perhaps my favorite comic book movie of all time is Raimi’s Spider-Man 2.”
“The Infinity Wars” directors are responsible for the successful debut introduction of the new Spider-Man on screen in “Captain America: Civil War.” But the Russo Brothers also revealed that they haven’t seen any new footage.
He added, “From a process standpoint, it’s like it is with all other Marvel directors. Everybody runs into each other in the hallways, we’re passing off story information between each other. I don’t necessarily know how much it influenced me yet because we’re not involved in it on a day-to-day project, a process, and we’ve seen as much as everybody else has seen, meaning if you were at Comic-Con and you saw the Comic-Con trailer, that’s what we’ve seen of it.”
Marvel Studios hasn’t revealed the SDCC footage of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” publicly yet. According to description reports, it was revealed that fans got a glimpse of Micheal Keaton’s Vulture before footage concluded. the movie will be released on July 7th, 2017.
