Will there be Spice Girls performance in Adele’s US tour in the offing? Will the phenomenal girl band open Adele US Tour in July?


Adele’s love for the girl band Spice Girl was seen again in her latest Amsterdam concert where she channeled her inner fan girl. The hit maker wowed the audience with her witty performance of Spice Girl’s hit 1997 song “Spice Up Your Life.”

In a video retweeted Spice Girl member herself Emma “Baby Spice” Bunton, the “When We Were Young singer” can be seen chanting “Spice Girls!” while the crown began clapping to the beat.

Adele meanwhile answered, “Oh, stop it, I’m not a Spice Girl,” before she managed to throw in some lines from the hit song.

Meanwhile, Spice Girl member Geri Halliwell, whom Adele admitted to be her favorite among the group, reposted the video as she captioned it with, “Go @Adele.”

In her previous appearance for “The Late Late Show” with James Corden, Adele also revealed while they were doing the Carpool Karaoke sketch that she is a die hard of the Spice Girls.

“It was a huge moment in my life when they came out,” Adele, told the host. “It was these five ordinary girls that did so well.”

Meanwhile, fans are hoping that Spice Girl can have an opening number for Adele’ s upcoming US Tour. The 28-year-old Academy Award-winner is on tour for her studio album, with about 105 concerts globally.

This June, Adele will around Europe but will fans are hoping to have the Spice Girls open for her US tour coming this July.

This can be possible as Spice Girls is also planning for a reunion tour, Romper noted in a report.

In other news, Adele called out a fan in one of her concerts in Europe whom she saw filming her for her performance, E! Online said.

She noticed a girl who was setting up her tripod ready to film Adele when the singer called out and said, “Yeah, I want to tell that lady as well, can you stop filming me with a video camera because I’m really here in real life.”

She added, “You can enjoy it in real life, rather than through your camera.”

The “Chasing Pavement” hit maker also requested for her to enjoy the show rather than filming her because there were a lot of people who outside who were not able to get in.
