What's This?

Sony is reportedly working on a new phone line but the company remains mum over it. According to reports, the new model will be dubbed Xperia C, packed with interesting features, but no one knows how and when to expect it. Could it be a phone to watch out for?

Sony has been marketing the C series as a mid-range lineup that offers great self-portrait capabilities. In line with this, the new leaked pictures of a Sony device could be proof that the Japanese giant intends to release a Sony Xperia C model.

According to Nashville Chatter, the new leak suggests that the device will feature a 6-inch screen that will have gigantic front facing cameras. On top of this, the front camera may also have a LED flash. For comparison, Apple just incorporated a makeshift flash on the iPhone 6S that compensates for lack of dedicated flash. In the Xperia C6’s case, the phone is already equipped in this area.

In the last Mobile World Congress, Sony released a series of models but the Sony Xperia C6 version was not part of the lineup. However, there have been previous reports about the company focusing on the release of high-end phones despite the company struggling against revenues and sales. As higher end models such as Xperia X5 is having a hard time competing with top contenders like Apple, it appears Sony has seen a light at the end of the tunnel with the mid-range phones.
