What's This?

Remember those trendy watches which allowed us to change their dial rings to colorful rings to suit different styles? And then today’s smartphones with a number of themes to suit your mood? Sony’s Smartwatch 3 Watch Face App is just the same.

This new app for your Sony Smartwatch 3 is free and is called ‘Watch Faces for Smartwatch 3.’ This smartwatch, unlike the latest smartwatches from Samsung, Asus and Swatch, is a simple device with cool features. Even today, it is a wonderful combination of technology and days when simple things made us happy.

Watch Faces For Smartwatch 3 is nothing but a variety of themes that give your watch a trendy look. For a better understanding, let us have a look at the picture shared by Android Police:

Right now, only three themes have been introduced:
1. Classic
2. Watercolor
3. Sony

Classic is our old-school analog face design. A simple theme which comes with a number of widget and background options. Watercolor is the coolest of all. With splashes of color, this theme is bright and has a digital face. Third one is again a simple design for people who want numbers to flash on their screen.

This theme seems to be a cool thing. But we would like to see more splashes of color and many more options to choose for. Also, currently there is no 12-hour mode to digital faces. We assume that since this is the first time for the app, Sony kept it simple. Let’s hope the app gets upgraded sometime in the future with more trendy features added to it.

Going back to the theme culture?

When smartphones were launched, the coolest thing about them was the changing themes. People were loving it. But today, there is more to the phones than themes, and hence, this is not a feature that companies or users look forward to. But yes, a smartwatch with different themes would definitely be welcomed. Who loves black or white dials anyways?
