The soak test for Android 5.1 Lollipop on Motorola Droid Turbo has finally kicked off and the users may expect to get the update soon.

Early previews of the new software release is now available to users who are invited to take part in the soak test of Motorola. This is available only for Motorola Droid Turbo users, and this will be a test before the final version release. Though it has not been declared which software the company is talking about, it’s expected to be Android Lollipop 5.1.

As Droid-Life reports, “A number of our readers have been invited to ‘participate in an early preview of a new software release’ through Motorola’s Feedback Network. Of course, the invite doesn’t mention Android 5.1 Lollipop, but this has to be it.”

In order to be eligible for the test, the user needs to be a member of Motorola Feedback Network. Motorola Droid Turbo seems to have skipped Lollipop 5 and simply moved toward the updated version. The company kept an eye on the updated version of the Android operating system for quite a long time.
