Sleepy Hollow Season 3 To Premiere On October 1
Sleepy Hollow season 3’s new poster seems to give us a clue on what is awaiting us: we will see the Witnesses protecting each other’s backs, just what what they always do. The upcoming episodes of the much loved series promise to be as breathtaking as anything, since the poster published ahead of the season reveals much of the spirit Sleepy Hollow season 3 is imbued with.
A fascinating new poster appeared on the Twitter page of Phillip Iscove, the “Sleepy Hollow” executive producer, on Tuesday. Ichabod and Abbie are standing back-to-back surrounded by mysterious vines (resembling good old Tim Burton-inspired posters) and crows gliding above. The Witnesses are ready to give each other a hand in any situation regardless of the evil they are to face, according to TV Line.
This elegant poster indicates what perils await the heroes in “Sleepy Hollow” season 3, as Ichabod and Abbie are going to have a lot down their path. New show-runner Clifton Campbell claims that the Witnesses will deal with what is called the Second Tribulation and that it will force them to get back to their duties.
The third season is also expected to reveal new characters and regular ones, like Abbie’s FBI boss (Lance Gross), Daniel, as a romance object; Sheriff Corbin’s son Joe (Zach Appelman) is also going to make appearance along with Betsy Ross (Nikki Reeds).
According to Flickering Myth, Washington Irving’s classic is reborn in a modern-day setting, where a resurrected Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) is trying to unravel a mystery in time. as a result of which he is brought a couple of centuries ahead. The Headless Horseman being a plague of modern Sleepy Hollow is just the top of the iceberg, as the world is endangered by the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse that Ichabod has to confront to save Sleepy Hollow and all of humanity. The evil that awaits Ichabod returns in “Sleepy Hollow” season 3 with a new story, new heroes and new episodes.
“Sleepy Hollow” returns on Tuesday, Oct. 1, following “Bones” on Fox. You shouldn’t miss it!
