Single Mom’s Disguise Makes Her Son Happy And Proud

Supermom does not always fly in a red cape. Take Yevette Vasquez as an outstanding example.

Yevette and her son Elijah live in Fort Worth, Texas. While on their regular morning routine, she noticed the unusual volume of cars parked near her son’s school.

Elijah, who grew up without a dad, told her that their school was hosting a “Donuts with Dad’ event. Of course, he did not bother telling his mom.

But Yevette will not allow his son to miss out on things like this. It’s time for Yevette the Supermom!

In a Facebook post, she described how it went for their day at the “Donuts with Dad” event.

She said, “Good morning, today at my son Elijah’s skewl as I was dropping him off i ask him why there was so many cars… He said Donuts 🍩 with Dad, so we quickly went back home cause I wasn’t about to let him miss out….. I know seeing other dads with there kids isn’t easy for mine but its life, at least I can do whatever it takes to put a smile on that face, so here it goes….. and please don’t hate I know I’m a woman an so do my sons lol #ilovehim #wegettingthemdonuts #noexcuses

Elijah’s beaming face says it all. For sure, he would understand that he has no father to attend the event. But his mom more than made up for the absence of his dad. Yevette’s disguise made a mark in Elijah’s heart and mind.
