Crooner Shawn Mendes’ latest single “Mercy” is speculated to drop on August 18!
The 18-year-old Canadian singer’s “Mercy” single is said to drop by next week, as stated in a preview clip by YouTube channel Shawn Mendes Music, a fan page.
Though there has not been any confirmation about the release date coming from Shawn Mendes himself, fans of the young singer expressed their excitement over the singer’s new song.
Shawn Mendes recently celebrated his birthday last Sunday and received greetings from celebrities.
Taylor Swift lip-synched his “Treat You Better” as her way of greeting as well as in celebration of the International Cat Day in her Instagram Story video.
“Treat You Better” is by far his most popular song, landing in Billboard Top 20, Billboard said in a report.
Other singers also poured in their greetings including Nick Jonas and German DJ Zedd.
“Happy birthday Shawn! You continue to evolve and push yourself. It’s great to see. Keep doing your thing bro. @ShawnMendes,” Nick Jonas said.
Zedd tweeted, “Yoooo happy birthday @ShawnMendes !!!!!!!!”
The singer was also surprised by his high school pals while he was on world tour. He was in Nashville last August 7 when one of his pals from the audience showed up with a birthday cake while he was singing his hit single “Treat You Better,” Teen Vogue said in a report.
Shawn Mendes hit stardom when he was discovered for his cool song covers which he shares in Vine. His first album is named “Handwritten.”
