With the official initiation of summer, it is about time for sharks as Discovery Channel’s Shark Week 2016 premieres on Sunday, June 26.
Eli Roth had already started off Shark Week 2016 with “Sharktacular.” The show premiered on Sunday, June 19. However, the official week of programming takes place from Sunday, June 26 to Sunday, July 3.
According to Bustle, this TV time-honored tradition is the best way to start one’s summer season. While Discovery has been putting a lot more effort to focus on scientific education rather than just scare the audience in recent shark shows of the past year, the schedule for 2016’s shark schedule is not different at all.
