Because there has been no news about a possible third film, fans considered the show done. But those who are eager to get more valuable lessons in life from SATC, there is still a chance for another chapter.
Sarah Jessica Parker Willing To Do Sex and the City 3
Sarah Jessica Parker, who played Carrie Bradshaw in the second film, revealed in a recent interview with PA that she is not closing her doors for another sequel. She said that another Sex and the City chapter, either a movie and a TV series, is not impossible to make because most actors are still willing to do it.
“I don’t think any of us have said no,” Parker said via Elle. “I don’t know whether it’s a series or the movie. I think that remains an open question and discussion that will continue until it’s been resolved. I think that’s always a possibility, definitely.”
On the other hand, Willie Garson, who played Stanford Blatch before, said that Parker and other co-stars had an idea before for another chapter. He said that he is unsure if Sex and the City 3 will ever happen. But if he will be asked to be a part of the series again, Garson said that he will not hesitate to accept the role.
“I would make a hundred of them,” Garson said. “But I would keep going. I don’t think any of us would say, ‘Absolutely not, I want to leave that part of my life behind me.’ I have no idea when or if that were to happen.”
Simon Brew of Den of Geek said that producing Sex and the City 3 will be a good move for Warner Bros. Aside from DC films, Brew said that SATC 3 could be the big hit that the company needs in the coming year.
