What's This?

American singer and actress Selena Gomez has collaborated with some artists before. The singer’s endeavor to an unexpected roster of hip-hop collaborators may make her music more mature.

First, Gomez featured the hip-hop recording artist A$AP Rocky in the song “Good For You.” Then rapper Fetty Wap contributed a flaming verse to her “Same Old Love” remix. But this time, it seems like the 23-year-old Gomez is eyeing rap heavyweight Wiz Khalifa.

MTV claims that in a Snapchat, while an unknown track is playing, Gomez is spotted chilling next to Wiz. Then the “Good for You” hitmaker started blowing a kiss on the camera.

Then Wiz Khalifa posted photos of his new puppy named Max B hanging out with Gomez in the studio. One photo is captioned “collab coming soon.”

Idolator reports that Wiz also tweeted and stated that his future works are for Rolling Papers 2, a sequel to his 2011 debut. The new music of Khalifa is slated to be out this summer.

However, Ace Showbiz states that Gomez is preparing to start her “Revival” tour, which will feature the American pop-rock band DNCE as the front act.

Gomez has made it known that she has already started working on her next full-length album. The singer stated, “I’m already getting back in the studio with everybody that I love and I’ve been more inspired than ever.”

There has been no confirmation yet if Selena and Wiz are indeed cooking up a collaboration for their forthcoming albums. As Selena told Zach Sang & The Gang during a post-Grammys interview last month, she’s already gearing up for her musical follow-ups.

It would be great to hear Wiz and Gomez collaborating, considering that the former did great on his collaboration with Charlie Puth.
