The season two of “Secrets and Lies” promises yet another thriller story for the fans of the ABC show.


Starring Juliette Lewis, who plays as Detective Andrea Cornell, will be in charge to investigate the death of a woman which she branded as homicide.

Played by Jordana Brewster, Kate is the new wife of Eric Warner, played by Michael Ealy, who fell from the roof and died while they were having a celebration of their family’s business.

Eric then became the primary suspect but what Detective Cornell finds out was that his family members also have their own share of secrets, Daily Mail said.

Included in the “Secrets and Lies” season 2 cast are John (Terry O’Quinn), an entrepreneur, Amanda (Mekia Cox) and Patrick (Charlie Barnett), according to a report from TV Series Finale.

Detective Cornell will look into the each character’s secrets and lies for her to uncover the truth.

Last season, Detective Cornell dealt with the case of Ben Crawford, played by Ryan Phillippe, who became the prime suspect of his neighbor’s son’s death. He was having his usual morning run when he found the body of the young boy. His case affected his family, career, and sanity, and even resulted to a chasing game with Detective Cornell.

“Secrets and Lies” season 2 comes back to ABC after its first season gathered high ratings. It is also considered as one of the high profile US shows along with “Code Black” and “The Strain.”

“Secrets and Lies” is based on the Australian series of the same title and was created by Stephen Irwin.

The “Secrets and Lies” season 2 will premiere on ABC this fall.
