The Seattle Seahawks will look to score their first winning streak this season, while the New York Jets will look to bounce back from a disappointing loss. The Jets and the Seahawks will collide on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
Seattle Seahawks Looking To Pick Up Steam
The Seattle Seahawks had a flat start this season with a hard-earned 12-10 win and it was followed by an ugly 9-3 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. However, they managed to bounce back big time in Week 3 of the 2016 NFL season, scoring a masterful 37-18 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
However, Seattle had a huge scare in their victory over the 49ers after Russell Wilson sustained a knee injury. Fortunately, the superstar quarterback suffered just a sprained MCL in his left knee, avoiding a more serious injury that could have ended his season.
Wilson was considered questionable for their game against the Jets, but the 27-year-old reportedly participated in all drills in their recent practice. Wilson confirmed that he will not miss the game against the Jets, saying that he was fortunate the injury was not as bad as it looked during their match against the 49ers.
New York Jets Want To Get Back On Track
Meanwhile, the Jets will try to get back on winning track after a deflating loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last week. Following their 37-31 win over the Buffalo Bills, they took a humbling 24-3 defeat to the Chiefs.
Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had a forgettable performance after committing six interceptions and losing two fumbles. According to ESPN, it was the worst performance of Fitzpatrick’s career.
“We lost that game because of my performance,” Fitzpatrick said. “We don’t really need to pin it or try to put it on anything else. I think that was pretty evident.”
