Sandra Bullock has officially made Laila her daughter. The actress has been fostering the 3-year-old girl for a while until she finally recognized with her other adopted son Louis that Laila is already a part of the family.
As reported by ABC News, Sandra Bullock, a renowned actress in Hollywood, is now 51 years old. Despite the absence of having a child of her own, she had adopted son Louis, 5 years old, and had been fostering a 3-year-old child named Laila. The actress currently stands as a solo parent to Louis and has finally made it official to call Laila her second child.
When Bullock was featured in a spread for People, she stated, “When I look at Laila, there’s no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here.” She added, “There was an afternoon when we were outside and Louis saw their car pull up and he ran next to Laila and asked the CPS workers why they were there.
“They replied that they were there to see if Laila was okay. He replied, ‘You’re not going to take her away, are you?’ And at that moment, I knew I could stop worrying about whether I had found the right match. It was obvious I had.”
When asked about Laila’s experience under her roof, she stated, “I knew she was scared, and all I wanted was for her to know Louis and I weren’t going anywhere,” as reported by Sydney Morning Herald.
Now that Sandra Bullock has announced to the public that she has a new daughter under her wings, she was reportedly more than happy to have gained another addition to her family despite being a single parent. In fact, she stated, “My family is blended and diverse, nutty, and loving and understanding. That’s a family.” Currently, the actress is dating photographer-model Bryan Randall who shot her People Magazine spread.
