What's This?

The past couple of months saw several rumors and speculations regarding the Samsung Galaxy S7 specs, price, launch date, etc. Finally, the phone was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona a few days ago. Reports claim that the flagship will be revealed in 60 countries across the globe and will be available for sale from March 11.

The global sale was recently confirmed by head of Samsung Mobile Communications Chief Koh- Dong-ji. He said, “The Galaxy S7 is slated to go on sale in 60 countries on March 11. We expect its sales to surpass shipments of the previous model, the Galaxy S6.”

Well, there is a surprise offer to that for those who pre-order the phone between February 23 and March 18. They will get a free Gear VR headset. Added to this, Samsung offers flagship features including waterproofing and dust resistant specs in the new Samsung Galaxy S7, which were missing in the previous handset. It is therefore expected that the sales of the flagship model will rise due to additional features, reports First Post.

Mr. Dong-Ji added, “We tried to add as many features as possible (to the Galaxy S7) that were discontinued in the previous models.” Although it needs more research and experimentation to overcome issues with the phone’s hardware, Dong-ji is confident that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will prove its mettle with the existing features, reports GSM Arena.
