Last year, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus were launched at almost the same time. Samsung even went a step further and created ads on Google that when people searched for iPhone 6S, the Galaxy S6 popped up. This year, chances are Samsung Galaxy S7 and iPhone 7 will be launched around the same time as well. It’s going to be Galaxy S7 vs. iPhone 7 in 2016.

Since it’s a trend to compare Samsung and Apple products, let us see in this Galaxy S7 vs iPhone 7 battle who wins the race. Both smartphones are going to be introduced with latest technologies. Apple is bringing drastic changes to the iPhone such as removing the headphone jack, providing a thinner display, etc. Samsung will stick to newer specs that will become common in 2016. Samsung is bringing all the best tech together for Galaxy S7.

On the other hand, Apple will be trying new things with iPhone 7. Still, what can go against iPhone 7 is its decision to remove the headphone jack and sell an accessory separately to add to the cost. This can go against Apple, as people are already signing a petition asking the company to change the decision. Another point going to Galaxy S7’s favor is its battery life. The rumors say that the device’s battery may last up to 5 days. Even if the battery life of iPhone 7 improves, it may not be able to beat Samsung’s.

Samsung is also bringing the microSD card slot back on Galaxy S7. The reason why some Samsung users did not invest into Galaxy Note 5 or S6 Edge+ was that there was no slot for the SD card. People preferred iPhone 6S/6S Plus over these phones. It looks like this time, when the Galaxy S7 vs. iPhone 7 scenario arises, Samsung’s dream may finally turn into reality. Given the price of the iPhone due to the changes made, people would finally give up on Apple.

Honestly, I feel like Apple will always be better because their screen isn’t so glitchy, the apps don’t bug out or just don’t work, and their phones are so big, while Apple has smaller phones and all the apps work. I would never switch.
