Almost immediately after the Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event, the buzz surrounding Samsung’s next phone Galaxy S7 began. Rumors have covered almost every aspect of the phone, from the design to the features. And now comes the latest report saying the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge specs has been listed by AnTuTu on its Weibo account.
Rumors suggest that Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will be launched in February at the Mobile World Congress. If the release is that close, we can expect the specs listed by AnTuTu to be the final ones. Let’s have a look at the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge specs:
- Display: 5.1-inch QHD
- Memory: 4GB RAM
- Internal storage: 64GB
- GPU: Adreno 530
- Camera: 12 MP front
- OS: Android Marshmallow
- Chipset: Snapdragon 820
This list has confirmed two things. First, the Galaxy S7 devices will be powered by the latest Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 820, which is good news for Samsung fans looking forward to buy this phone. This chip is definitely the future of smartphones. Second is its operating system. As we know, there are devices we can count on our fingers running Android Marshmallow. The year 2016 is said to be the year of this operating system. With the listing, we believe that Samsung will be the first to pack all latest technologies. Even though this is the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge specs list, not much will change when it comes to Samsung Galaxy S7. There sure will be differences, sure, but minor ones. For example, Galaxy S7 may have a 16GB variant, but Galaxy S7 Edge will not have such.
