Samsung Galaxy S6 Active Features Revealed Before Official Announcement
Intentional or unintentional, leaked details of Samsung Galaxy S6 Active managed to grab a lot of attention. The Samsung US website unloaded details of the device on its official website, though such is not announced yet. The page that was previously available is now taken away by the company.
The release date is still not confirmed but people are expecting a lot of modifications in the latest model. However, the specs suggest that users may get disappointed with some expected modifications not taking place. There are some extras added to the list to please users.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active will come with the standard 2550 mAh battery, same as with Samsung Galaxy S6. The expected 3500 mAh battery will still be missing, though users wanted it badly.
The fingerprint sensor is an extra addition to the new model. There will be other general sensors available in the model. However, the sensor will not be integrated to the home button. According to Phone Dog, the phone will have 5.1 inch display along with an octa-core processor and a 32GB storage.
The most prominent feature that will make the S6 Active a sure hit is the fact that it is waterproof and dust-proof. If your phone is submersed for 30 minutes up to 1.5 meters, it will not be damaged. So, if you are planning a vacation to the beach, the phone can become your companion.
A disappointing thing about the new model, though, is that it is not going to support microSD cards. It will have an Activity Zone app that includes a compass, weather information, S Health and barometric pressure. The top-left corner of the handset features a dedicated button for the same.
It’s still not sure when the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active will be released or announced by the company, but this information can help you make a constructive decision regarding the purchase of the product.
