What's This?

Every other day we get fresh news about Samsung’s upcoming smartphone, “Galaxy S7.” At times, news about the chip does the rounds; other times, it’s about the battery and display. But this time, the rumor is about the most-awaited news, the “Samsung Galaxy S7 release date.”

The latest buzz is that Samsung may announce the phone in late February followed by a release in March. The company earlier launched phones around March and April, but now, there are stories from sources like SamMobile that Samsung is working on introducing phones earlier than that.

Samsung Galaxy S7 is said to be powered by Snapdragon 820, which will be sold only in some regions. Many of the upcoming phones were set for release in 2016 because the chip is supposed to be out next year. But now, as Qualcomm has launched the chip, we can expect many smartphones to be announced and released way before they are expected to. Same is the case with Galaxy S7. As it is going to sport the latest technologies, everything should fall into place before the brand decides to introduce customers to it. And should things go fine, Galaxy S7 might be released in the first quarter of 2016. The February date can also be postponed to January 2016.
