Ed Sheeran and Ruby Rose are all set to host the MTV Europe Music Awards in Milan. The “Orange is the New Black” star is quite excited about the offer to host the prestigious show with singer Ed Sheeran on October 25.

MTV just unveiled the hosts of the Europe Music Awards that will be held at the Mediolanum Forum. On Wednesday, Sheeran took to Twitter to express the joy, “So happy to say I’m hosting the #MTVEMAs on 25th October! Cannot wait.” Ruby Rose is also excited about the event. She tweeted, “So excited to be hosting the MTV EMAS In Milan with Mr @edsheeran !!! See you there!!”

Sheeran will be supporting his friend Taylor Swift, who is nominated for the awards. She has bagged a whopping 9 nominations. Other nominees for the show include Kendrick Lamar, Ellie Goulding, Shawn Mendes and many more. Fans will be given a chance to vote for Biggest Fans, Best World Stage and Best Collaboration.

While Sheeran’s success is no doubt interesting, Ruby Rose is not far behind. She made an appearance in season 3 of “Orange is the New Black” and was able to win hearts with her performance. Currently she was in the news asking fans to boycott a magazine that published her pictures with her nipples visible.

It seems that the two stars have a tough job to match the show put up by Nicki Minaj in last year’s MTV EMA. According to MTV, it was the “most widely distributed show in MTV EMA history” and the show put up by Minaj is a hard rival.
