Ruby Rose Asks People To Boycott ‘Untitled’ In Protest Of Nudity
Ruby Rose is one again under the limelight. The “Orange is the New Black” star has urged fans to boycott the latest edition of “Untitled”as the magazine published a picture of her showing nipples.
The girl power edition of the September 16 mag shows a picture of Ruby Rose in a see-through top with a jacket on her shoulder. The name of Rose was included under the “Additional Exclusive Interviews.”
Rose has mentioned in an Instagram post, “I am pro ‘free the nipple’ so when I was tagged in this photo by fans I wasn’t sure where it came from but I assumed a BTS from a friends shoot or one where we had approved slightly transparency in an image.”

She said she was shocked to see her picture in the magazine. “ Imagine my shock to find that @theuntitledmagazine decided to publish images of me after we explained we wouldn’t be doing the shoot if I wasn’t appropriately covered,” she continued.
The “Orange is the New Black” star also mentioned, “The difference with working with a friend and or choosing to use nudity for art / and someone taking the piss and exploiting you is two different things. Not only is this 8 months old.. The photos unapproved but they also sold photos to other publications.”
She urged her fans not to purchase a copy of the magazine. She added, “The interview made no sense 8 months on. Please if you are a fan of mine boycott this issue. Or you are buying into greedy, exploitative propaganda. I have plenty of other shoots I’m proud of with professionals coming up its not needed in your collection.”
It is uncommon for a star to sit in for an interview and pose for a magazine then go into battle against it. However, has said she reserved the final rights of approving the picture, and she was not given a chance to exercise such.
