What's This?

Ronda Rousey remains mum about her plans on whether or not she will return to fight again in the Octagon. But if her recent activities are indications about her mindset, it seems that she is enjoying life outside of mixed martial arts.

Rousey was recently spotted with boyfriend Travis Browne, who is also a UFC fighter. And after the photos surfaced online, fans started to speculate that Rousey looks ready to call her career over and start a family with Browne.

According to Terez Owens, Rousey should just retire and enjoy life with Browne and their future kids. The former Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s bantamweight champion has not fought since losing her title to Holly Holm via second-round knockout at UFC 193 in November last year.

A recent photo of Rousey also surfaced, showing her allegedly training her little sister. This led to talks that the 29-year-old might just focus on becoming a trainer.

Rousey appears to be aware of the never-ending talks about her future plans. It was likely the reason why she posted a photo on her official Instagram account with “FTA” as caption. It is said to be a message directed to her critics and fans who are talking about her retirement.

As for her comeback fight, fans will still have to wait when she will return to action. Rousey was linked to a possible main event fight at UFC 205 in November. UFC 205 will be the first Ultimate Fighting Championship fight card in New York since MMA was legalized in the city.

Reigning UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes wants to defend her title against Rousey. But as it appears, Nunes will not get her wish anytime soon.

“She’s definitely not fighting in New York,” UFC president Dana White recently said via MMA Mania. “I’m actually going to start building the New York card this week. Maybe when I get the New York card done, I’ll jump back on with you guys and announce it. But nothing yet.”
