The full teaser for Disney’s “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” will debut on Thursday on “Good Morning America.” This was announced on a 10-second teaser released on Wednesday afternoon.
Before the debut of a full-length teaser, a 10-second clip of the “Star Wars” teaser was released, which revealed that Stormtrooper will have a new armor, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The report disclosed that while the movie’s supposed plot happened before the original “Star Wars,” it means that the Skywalker family farm on Tatooine may not be part of it. Of course, this can only be confirmed by the full teaser of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” which will be out a few hours from now.
In the meantime, rumors about the movie suggested that Han Solo and Yoda would still be part of it, but only via cameo roles, reported Making Star Wars.
Accordingly, Han Solo cameo might be playing a BoShek type that refers to rebels people hire, while the Grand Master of the Jedi Order would be around allegedly to send off some characters during a cameo segment on the Dagobah.
Meanwhile, it was also theorized that Jabba the Hutt was the one who “brokered information” to the rebels in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”
Another exciting rumor about the upcoming film is the presence of several bounty hunters from “The Empire Strikes Back,” which may include Bossk, Dengar, 4-LOM, Zuckuss and IG-88. Bounty hunters from “The Clone Wars” are likewise anticipated to be part of the highly-anticipated George Lucas project.
As what Slash Film previously speculated, the spinoff’s plot will revolve around the bounty hunters “who are hired for the job.” It was claimed that this group of people would be out to “steal the plans for the first Death Star.”
Catch “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” in theaters on Dec. 16, 2016.
