Rob Kardashian, the only male member of the Kardashian clan, has been seemingly depressed with his extra pounds and has been desperately trying to get rid of them. However, he has reportedly chucked the old way of losing weight that includes dieting and exercising and gone under the knife in an attempt to get back in shape.
According to a report by Media Take Out, the reality star has undergone a stomach stapling surgery, which is also known as gastric bypass, last week. Reportedly, the entire episode will be aired on Rob’s reality show ‘Rob and Chyna’ which will act as a major plotline for him.
In an interview with the Rolling Stones magazine, sister Kim Kardashian blamed Rob’s lazy habits for the weight gain. “He has gained weight. He feels uncomfortable being on the show, and that’s OK. Do I think he smokes weed, drinks beer, hangs out and plays video games with his friends all day long? Yes,” she said as quoted by Sugarscape.
Although, Kim’s comments have, reportedly, infuriated Rob back then, it might have struck a chord with him somehow. He surely wants to look his absolute best on his wedding day, which would follow soon after girlfriend Blac Chyna gives birth to their baby girl.
The Hollywood Life reported that gastric bypass has long proven to be an effective way of losing weight. The procedure involves reducing the size of the stomach so that the intake of the food reduces. So, Now even if Rob feels like guzzling down more, his stomach would not allow.
Rob Kardashian isn’t the first celebrity who has undergone the surgery as well. It has been pretty popular among obese celebs, and the list includes Sharon Osbourne, Star Jones and Al Roker. Rob has been desperately trying to touch down to his target weight of 200 pounds. It did, kind of, pay off initially by cutting down 50 pounds, he continued to gain some her and some there.
