Rise, Arisen! ‘Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen’ Is Coming To PC Next Year
Ready to return to Gran Soren? Capcom has announced that its massive action-fantasy RPG “Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen” will be hitting the PC this coming January. The game was first released on the Xbox 360, the PS3 and the PC back in 2012. The expansion “Dark Arisen” came afterwards, but only for the Xbox 360 and the PS3.
According to Capcom, the game will be available for $29.99, complete with a full Steam platform support.
“Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen” tells the story of a hero (a male or a female, depending on the player’s choice) whose heart gets stolen by a dragon that attacked his/her village. Together with mighty warriors called Pawns, the hero must then set off to an epic adventure to kill the dragon, reclaim his/her heart, and thereby save the world.
The PC version is expected to come with breathtaking high-resolution graphics, perfect for the massive enemies that will come in the way of the Arisen. This version will also come with support for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers.
The original “Dragon’s Dogma” met critical acclaim upon release. During its first week in Japan, it sold more than 300,000 PS3 copies and almost 30,000 Xbox 360 copies.
The re-release of the game is not surprising at all, considering how Capcom is currently on a re-release spree. “Resident Evil 2,” one of the company’s most famous games, is also getting a makeover in the form of a remake.
