Rihanna was spotted screaming hysterically before she canceled her performance at the 2016 Grammys, but there are conflicting stories about what triggered the singer-songwriter’s outburst.

Sources connected with the Grammy Awards stated that the Bitch Better Have My Money singer was loudly expressing displeasure over rehearsals. Sources said that Rihanna was loud and upset before walking out.

According to TMZ, “Rihanna’s crew said the singer had a medical issue … bronchitis that was so bad, Rihanna could not perform and that’s the reason she left. Sources close to the singer tell us she was too upset to stay and watch the show.”

The Boombox claims that a representative from the singer’s camp stated, “Based on the medical examination of Rihanna, after Grammy rehearsal today, Rihanna’s doctor put her on vocal rest for 48 hours, for the reason that the singer was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal chords.”

The artist behind We Found Love song tweeted, “so sorry I couldn’t be there,” before she thanked the people behind the Grammys and CBS for their support.

As stated in the Huffington Post, television host James Corden was supposed to be part of Rihanna’s Grammy performance. Rihanna was supposed to perform her song from multi-platinum album “Anti” Kiss It Better with an ’80s talk show theme with The Late Late Show host.

James Corden made his way to the Grammys red carpet, but the talk show host had no idea Rihanna had already canceled.
