Rihanna and Drake’s unexpected kiss at the MTV Video Music Awards 2016 surprised the audience and their fans. Does this mean the two are now officially a couple?


When Drake presented the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award for Rihanna at the MTV VMAs 2016, the two shared sweet moments together on stage and ended up kissing!

The “One Dance” singer first talked about the “Diamonds” singer and how they met back when they were doing the video “Pon De Replay.”

Drake then told that he has been in love with the then 22-year-old Rihanna and up to now.

The hitmaker, who was late to receive his award earlier in the VMA 2016, said that the Rihanna he is seeing today is still the same girl he met years back. He even added that she is his best friend.

Just when Rihanna accepted her award, the two shared a sweet kiss together that made the audience cheer in frenzy.

Rihanna, who was wearing a stunning metallic robe gown for the night, then hugged her rumoured boyfriend after the kiss.

Rihanna and Drake have been rumoured to be dating since 2010.

According to Heavy.com, Drake and Rihanna rumoredly hooked-up in Lucky Strike in New York City. It was also reported that Drake wrote the song “Fireworks” to describe his flame with Rihanna.

Despite the two’s kissing, there has not been any confirmation about Rihanna and Drake’s relationship.

Aside from Drake, Rihanna also dated Leonardo DiCaprio and Chris Brown.

It was even reported that Drake and Chris Brown’s entourage had a heated fight in 2012.

Drake said in one interview, “Two rappers fighting over a woman—he’s not even a rapper, but still. It’s the last way you want your name out there. It distracts from the music. But he’s made me the enemy, and that’s the way it’s gonna stay, I guess.”
