Xbox gamers may have a lot of games to look forward to, seeing that Xbox Corporate Vice President of Marketing Mike Nichols had released the list of upcoming game titles for Xbox One, Xbox 360, Steam and Windows 10 for 2016. However, a game developer has some bad news to deliver. too. A game aiming for a holiday 2016 release has officially been delayed. Fans can look forward to playing “Scalebound” exclusively on Xbox One in 2017 instead.

“Scalebound” creator Platinum Games Inc. explained in a brief statement that they have decided to delay the release of their fantasy adventure game as they need a lot more time to “bring to life all the innovative features and thrilling gameplay experiences that we have planned.” This exclusive to Xbox One action-RPG game lets players fight side by side with a terrifying dragon known as Thuban. Here, Platinum Games promises that gamers will experience a unique adventure featuring inventive multiplayer, action-packed battle scenarios and exploration.

“Scalebound” is a collaboration between Platinum Game and highly acclaimed game director Hideki Kamiya. For now, fans eagerly awaiting the release of this fantasy adventure game can watch the trailer and Xbox Gamescom Briefing 2015 here. The game can be enjoyed by up to four players.

As of the moment, “Scalebound” is the only game that is so far experiencing delay in its release. However, it is likely that similar announcements will be made in the coming days or months.
