Bethanny Frankel from “Real Housewives of New York City” may not be returning to the show next season. The 45-year-old reality TV star has gone through a lot in “RHONY” Season 8.
The multi-faceted Frankel has gone through a tough year with a messy divorce from her ex-husband Jason Hoppy. Besides, she is also dealing with health issues.
Bethanny Frankel told ET Online exclusively that she is “distancing herself from the show.” The very volatile reunion of “RHONY” taped in July maybe one of the main reasons for the star to quit the show.
“It was very, very negative and I didn’t enjoy it at all. Something very dramatic happened … that questioned my integrity,” she said. Bethanny Frankel added that if someone questions her business or for that matter her integrity, she takes it very seriously.
Frankel continued that about 50 percent of the cast have a “whole taboo, police line, ‘do not cross’ section of their life that is not discussed on camera and never has been.” She said that Bravo does not bring up such issues on the show due to legal and liability issues.
Frankel did not like the fact that Sonja Morgan created a brand that was a take on her own successful brand Skinnygirl. To add fuel to the fire, Morgan constantly referred to her very own “Tipsy Girl” in interviews.
So Bethanny Frankel has decided to make some changes to her personal as well as professional life. She said she has various businesses and “business decisions to make.”
The chef, author, reality TV star all in one’s latest Skinnygirl product is the Watermelon Lime Margarita, which works very well for parties. The “RHONY” now wants to come up with another “fun drink” for her healthy lifestyle brand.
Frankel opens up about her battle with fibroids that caused bleeding and also required her to go for surgery. Meanwhile, in “RHONY” Season 8 Episode 19 on Wednesday, the star drops a bomb on Luann de Lesseps and she can’t take it, Heavy reports.
The ‘bomb’ in question is a photograph of the latter’s fiance, Tom making out with another woman. The “RHONY” Season 8 finale airs Aug. 24, and the reunion will follow.
