“Quantico” star Priyanka Chopra who hails from India has been offered a new American show. This is a celebrity talk show with American celebrities. ABC is excited to get the actress roped in for the show, though it is unclear if the “Quantico” lead actress will be able to take the job or not.

Priyanka is a renowned actress in the Indian film industry with two films lined up in her schedule. Making time between them can be difficult for the actress, but she is excited for the offer.

A source mentioned, “She has been offered to host an American celebrity talk show by ABC. She is yet to decide on the offer,” adding, “She is getting good response for her performance in Quantico. She is happy that people have liked the show and her.”

With around 8.8 million average viewers “Quantico” already has a great start in the Sunday night slot of ABC. The network also increased the number of episodes from 13 to 19 owing to the fabulous response the show is getting. The showrunners may even think of a season 2.

When asked why she chose American television, Priyanka said, “I want to go wherever my work takes me,” adding, “I want to be able to tell stories globally, entertain globally. Hopefully, this is a step in that direction.”

Is her role as Alex in “Quantico” difficult? Priyanka Chopra answered, “The one thing that I did have to work on for Alex was definitely my American accent, which was a task, man. That was one big thing. And also FBI-speak and the body language. And how to clear rooms and deal with guns. … It was so fascinating to sit with FBI consultants and understand what really happens at Quantico. We always see what happens after they’re agents, but you never see what happens when they’re training.”

Priyanka Chopra, 33, opened the door of opportunity for other Indian actors. With “Quantico” becoming a huge success we can hope to see more cross-border actors focusing on American TV.
