She has been welcomed well by the American audience for her performance in Quantico. Priyanka Chopra’s Quantico is making headline and here is what the star has to say about it. “America has been so welcoming to me,” she said in the interview.
The star attended high school in America in Queens, New York and Newton, Massachusetts. She came for a vacation here and was impressed by the country. However, she had a tough time in the school for sure.
Priyanka mentioned, “When I went to school here, I didn’t see anyone who looked like me,” she added, “I was called ‘Brownie’ and told, ‘Take your curry and go back to your country.” She said she wanted to go back home at that point off time.
It was her right decision to go back to her home country as her mother submitted her nomination for Miss India contest. She won there and became the Miss World for that year in U.K.
Even after she got success as Miss World, her career had problems in the film industry. When she was not ready to compromise with her compensation, a producer said that girls are interchangeable. If she is not ready to adjust, they will cast someone else.
Priyanka Chopra was not the girt to take defeat. She stuck with the industry and then went on to become one of the most paid actresses in the country. She has not limited her herself to India, though. Priyanka Chopra’s “Quantico” is now a massive hit. She is receiving new offers from American television. Priyanka has raised over sexism and bully and has shown path to many other actresses.
