Since last year, fans have been rubbing up the web for any scrap of information for the revival of Prison Break. The latest update for Prison Break season 5 is that the actor, model and screenwriter Wentworth Miller is back as Michael Scofield.
Michael Scofield (Miller) may have died at the end of the original run of the serial drama, but aficionados must get ready for the comeback of Michael and neglect about continuity in courtesy of nostalgia.
The English-born Australian actor Dominic Purcell is reprising his role as Michael’s brother Lincoln Burrows in the upcoming Prison Break.
According to Express, Sarah Wayne Callies (famous as Lori Grimes in AMC’s The Walking Dead) has stated that she would like to return in the TV drama as the prison medic Sara Tancredi. Sarah gave her explanation that she, along with the program makers, are “trying to make it work;” however, Callies said that she will have to make the most out of her hectic schedule.
Robert Knepper, widely known for his role as Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell, is also in talks with the production to feature in the reboot.
As Paul Scheuring has been scribing for the forthcoming Prison Break season 5, the German composer Ramin Djawadi wants to return to the television series. Even though Djawadi is busy working away on the score for Game of Thrones season six, the composer is on the go for working on the show again.
Djawadi stated, “Most likely, if my schedule allows – that show was very close to me. I loved all the people involved. I thought it was an incredible show. Absolutely.”
With regards of the series’ plot, Dana Walden (co-chairman of Fox,) stated last year, “I would describe it as a bit of a sequel. It picks up the characters several years after we left them in the last season of the show.”
No words have surfaced regarding the exact air date, but rumors were out saying Prison Break season 5 will be aired later this year or in 2017.
