Fans of the upcoming “Prison Break” Season 5 may experience Morocco through the eyes of their beloved prison breakouts, especially Michael Scofield.

While there has been no confirmation yet that there are episodes of “Prison Break” Season 5 being shot in the Northern African country, Melty is already theorizing that scenes being shot there “comprise the Yemen-based scenes.”

In a Twitter post, Rockmond Dunbar, who will still portray the role of Benjamin Miles “C-Note” Franklin in the “Prison Break” Season 5, shared a snap of him while lounging on a couch, along with the caption, “I Love Morocco and the people are a blessing. While the official trailer of “Prison Break” Season 5 did not ever show a scene filmed in Morocco, several fans might have been wondering already as to who among the well-loved characters of the Fox serial drama made it to the said country, apart from Rockmond Dunbar of course.

Amid the absence of an official statement from the network relative to the Moroccan trip of the “Prison Break” revival cast, especially after Dunbar came out with such tweet, it was surmised that C-Note, Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) and Sucre (Amaury Nolasco) might have reached the country as they continue their search for “mysterious” Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller).

Meanwhile, Melty noted that despite the fact that they would want to see Sarah (Sarah Wayne Callies) joining the gang in crossing the Indian Ocean, that wish might not just be granted since it is “unlikely,” as it added that “Sara and Michael may not see each other until the closing stages of the reboot.”

In the meantime, it can be recalled that back in March, TV Line revealed that the highly-anticipated season 5 of “Prison Break” is going international since it will not only focus on local filming.

“The story unravels on an international landscape — it’s not a domestic [plot],” Fox co-chair and CEO Dana Walden dished. “We open on a very international contemporary-feeling story.”

The “Prison Break” revival will is expected to premiere by spring of 2017.
