Paul Adelstein has recently revealed that he will be back as Paul Kellerman in the upcoming “Prison Break”. Is the revival series around the corner?

Paul Kellerman, the special agent for President Reynolds, will be back in the upcoming “Prison Break” revival series. Paul Adelstein, the actor who plays the role, recently confirmed that he is joining the cast. With that, the show will start filming in Vancouver next month.

According to Deadline, Adelstein is the last actor that confirmed to reprise his role as a lead character in the series. Apart from him, it was revealed that Wentworth Miller who plays Michael Scofield, Dominic Purcell who plays Lincoln Burrows, and Sarah Wayne Callies who plays Dr. Sara Tancredi will all reprise their roles. The three were the main protagonists of the show.

For the antagonists, Amaury Nolasco who plays Fernando Sucre, Robert Knepper who plays Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell, and Rockmond Dunbar who plays Benjamin Miles “C-Note” Franklin in the series, will all reprise their roles in the “Prison Break” revival as well. Adelstein previously played a role in “Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce.”

According to TV Line, the series will continue its storyline after Michael Scofield’s alleged death and his girlfriend, Sara Tancredi, has already moved on with her life. Tancredi is now allegedly married to another, a role going to be played by Mark Feuerstein. Both of them are striving to raise Tancredi’s son with Michael. Eventually, there will be hints that Michael may still be alive. Sara will team up with Michael’s brother Lincoln to find out the truth. T-Bag, Sucre, and C-Note will also be joining in the hunt.

Filming for “Prison Break” season 5 will start by next month in Vancouver, right after Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller are done with “Legends of Tomorrow.” There is still no definite release date, but with filming soon to start, the Fox show might possibly air in late 2016 or early 2017.
