Princess Beatrice is all set to become an entrepreneur in her own right. The 27-year-old daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson has left her fourth job in five years to pursue her ambition.
Princess Beatrice left her job in a Manhattan investment firm to pursue her “entrepreneurial ambitions.” She will now become a business consultant after leaving her present job, Daily Mail reports.
However, the princess is now on a holiday with her friends in the Greek islands. This follows her trip to the South of France a few weeks back.
Her business plans are currently on hold till the time she returns from her holiday. Sources said in June that Princess Beatrice had been “let go” from her job in New York.
However, the rumors were denied by aides. They said that the princess was in London only for June due to work, and to support Queen Elizabeth for her milestone 90th birthday.
The sources added that Princess Beatrice had moved to Sandbridge Capital, another department of her company. They said that she would begin work from July.
“She is creating a start-up consultancy backed by, and in association with, the group she worked with. She and some other people have set up a consultancy business under the auspices of Sandbridge Capital,” said a close friend of Princess Beatrice.
The friend refuted claims that the princess was sacked. The insider added that Princess Beatrice should not be “vilified,” but be “applauded for striking out on her own.”
The princess is known for her lavish holidays and between December 2014 and December 2015, she went on 18 foreign holidays. It is claimed that she receives no government funding.
“Princess Beatrice continues to pursue a career in business,” said a spokesperson of Buckingham Palace. He added that they could not comment beyond this on individual employers, and how Beatrice spends her “private time.”
Beatrice carried out charity work in Edinburgh.
