Prince William and Kate Middleton are living with their two royal babies in Anmer Hall. All is well but it is now reported that the Duchess of Cambridge is now rumored to be running the household with an iron fist.
According to a source from Vanity Fair, Queen Elizabeth agreed that Prince William and Kate Middleton will live in Anmer Hall in Norfolk to raise their kids normally.
The source said the Queen and Prince Charles “have given their blessing for William to live this [ordinary] life, and William is grateful. It’s enabling him and Kate to raise their family in a way that’s a close to ordinary as [Kate and William] can get.”
In a report by the Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the 32-year-old Duchess of Cambridge reportedly man the entire domestic help and chooses not to have an in-house chef and other extra staff to supervise the house.
Kate Middleton also reportedly does her own shopping at a local place named Back to the Garden. However, sometimes, the Duchess of Cambridge’s body guards were the ones who pick up the groceries.
CDL added that they kept their staff is limited with only one full-time nanny Maria Borrallo supervising the maintenance of the 10-bedroom Anmer Hall. The royal couple also takes turns in bathing their kids and sending them to bed everyday.
The report noted that this can either be because Prince William and Kate Middleton wanted their kids Princess Charlotte and Prince George to live normally or if Queen Elizabeth decided to increase the staff’s payroll budget.
According to ET Canada, one Norfolk local observed how the Prince William and Kate Middleton love their new home.
“They are rarely bothered… No one takes pictures or tries to talk to them,” the local said. “That’s why they love it here. They love the normality of life in Norfolk, whether it’s popping to the butcher or into a local toyshop to get another helicopter for George.”
