Previous reports suggested that the death of Prince was unintentional and was merely an accident. A suicide note uncovered however seemed to show that these reports are false.
Could it be true that Prince intended to end his life and was successful? Why will Prince commit suicide? These are some of the questions Prince’s suicide note triggered.
Citing a report by “In Touch Weekly” magazine, Hollywood Life shared that based on the narration of the late “Purple Rain” singer’s friend on Wednesday, the note was “chilling.”
“It was scrawled in big letters on a page ripped from a notebook,” the unnamed pal said. “It was chilling and read simply: ‘need something to make the pain stop, even if it means ending everything somehow. It’s time to go, I didn’t mean to leave so soon… I didn’t mean to leave now. Love, Love, Love.’”
Accordingly, Prince wrote the suicide note “right before” he allegedly overdosed himself with Fentanyl.
“It was almost lyrical,” the source added. “He knew he would finally do himself in with a deadly dose of opiates.”
If Prince did commit suicide, this runs against everything he stood for. Like what the rock icon’s friend pointed out, Prince is not one to take the easy way out. According to the friend, Prince wants “to be remembered as one of, if not the greatest, pop stars of all time, someone who spread love and joy through his music – not someone who’d done this to himself.”
However, despite the story coming from a so-called friend, Gossip Cop debunked it.
“Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim,” the entertainment site stated. “We’re told it’s ‘not true.’”
The news outlet disclosed that it “checked in with a reliable source close to the pop star” who reportedly assured them that Prince never left a suicide note.
