Prince Harry’s birthday is just around the corner. Will he invite his pal, Elizabeth Marks, to his birthday bash?Advertisement
Prince Harry could not have chosen a better time to turn 32. With his friend Elizabeth Marks bagging a gold medal in the 2016 Paralympics this year, it is quite a proud moment for the prince. Even though his birthday is less than 24 hours away, not much has been divulged about what kind of celebration the royal family is planning for him.
Surprisingly, however, unlike Prince Harry’s taste for wild parties, this year’s birthday bash is going to be low key, reports Express. The prince has just returned home from South Africa where he helped 500 tranquilized elephants from getting brutally taken advantage of by the poachers and wishes spend a calm birthday dinner with just close family and friends.
Prince Harry Birthday Celebrations
If his growing golden beard was not evidence enough, his desire to spend a quiet birthday certainly proves the fact that Prince Harry is finally ready to grow up. Thankfully, all the members of the royal family are available right now, since Prince William and Kate Middleton have their schedule clear, till they leave for their Canada tour on 24th September, reports Huffington Post.
But after being voted the hottest prince in the world this year, by the Crown Clinic in Manchester, reports Parade, it is a little hard to believe that Prince Harry will be spending his birthday with only his family members. Will he be inviting Elizabeth Marks?
She is the former US Army sergeant with a big heart who despite suffering grave hip injuries during her duty in Iraq, gave up the gold medal that she had won in the swimming competition at the Invictus games to support the British hospital which had saved her life.
Since that time, Elizabeth Marks has gone on to win the gold medal in the 2016 Paralympics in Rio for 100m breaststroke, reports People. She still gushes about her meeting with Prince Harry: “He’s a very nice, honest, good human being who is here for one purpose: to show the world that soldiers can move forward from their injuries, and to support them.” Will Marks be invited to the royal palace as an honored guest at Prince Harry’s birthday celebrations?
