The “work shy” royals will attend to 11 engagements over the two days. They will meet local organization, charities and businesses.
Kate Middleton, Prince William will also visit a number of Duchy of Cornwall projects. It funds the public, charitable and private activities of William’s father Prince Charles.
Kate is reportedly “furious” over the two-day schedule, Celebrity Dirty Laundry reports. Prince Charles revealed previously that when he becomes king, he wants all the senior royals to put in lots of hard work and not be lazy.
Kate and William will pay a visit to Truro city and Newquay town to check on Duchy-involved schemes. They will be busy with some of the schemes, starting with their mini Cornish tour at Truro Cathedral, Hello reports.
The couple will then head to the picturesque Isles of Scilly, an archipelago made up of over 200 rocks and islands that have been part of the Duchy since the 14th century. Kate and William will visit St Mary’s island to see gig rowing, the quay extension and the famous Tresco Abbey Garden.
They will then halt at St Martin’s island to visit a flower farm. When Prince Charles ascends the throne, Kate and William will become the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall.
The announcement of the new engagements of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge come close on the heels of a rumor of the latter trying to create her own “inner circle.”
It is being said that Princess Eugenie is moving into Kensington Palace in 2017 as part of this plan. Kate wants to delegate her work to the younger royal when the need arises.
However, Charles does not want to keep “minor royals” on payrolls and hence takes on extra work himself and gives to his wife Camilla, Celebrity Dirty Laundry reports. Besides, Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth have carried out the maximum engagements.
