Last week his daughter Malia Obama who is on her break year caused a social media meltdown with her twerking and grinding. Now it was her dad’s chance. Wonder what Michelle Obama would have told him had she seen him.
Obama was warming up to address the DNC in order to endorse Hillary Clinton. In a YouTube behind-the-scenes video, Barack Obama was seen getting pumped up to speak while listening to “Lose Yourself,” Eminem’s 8 Mile hit, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The President appears to be a huge fan of Eminem whose real name is Michael Bruce Mathers III. The video was posted by Clinton’s YouTube channel on Thursday.
It shows Clinton hanging out backstage with politicians and celebrities. Even Katy Perry, who sang at the DNC is seen. Former Rep Gabby Giffords gives a fist bump, while Senator Elizabeth Warren advices Sarah Silverman.
Also seen in the video are former President Bill Clinton, TV producer and writer Shonda Rhimes and actress Meryl Streep. Like POTUS had his moment, his younger daughter Sasha Obama made news by getting a summer job at Nancy’s seafood joint at Martha’s Vineyard.
Barack Obama celebrated his 55th birthday on Thursday. However, the first lady threw him a star-studded birthday bash on Friday. There were politicians, Hollywood A-listers, sportspersons for Obama’s last birthday at the White House.
The celebs included Jay Z and Beyonce, NBA legend Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie, Paul McCartney, Usher, Nick Jonas. The private birthday party was funded by the family from their own expenses, Washington Post reports.
The Obamas left for their annual summer vacation to Martha’s Vineyard on Saturday. The first family keeps a low profile biking, hiking, playing golf and going to the beach. This apart, they also are also seen enjoying dinner with friends.
