Poldark Season 3: Aidan Turner Shirtless In Cornwall, Season 2 Starting

The BBC period drama will make its Season 2 premiere on Sunday. The on-screen couple Ross Poldark and Demelza Carne (Eleanor Tomlinson) were spotted dining at a restaurant in Cornwall while filming “Poldark,” Movie News Guide reports.
So will the Irish actor Aidan go shirtless in Cornwall again? It’s just a mere speculation, but probably viewers would love to see more of the shirtless handsome hunk in Poldark Season 2.
Meanwhile, Aidan, 33, and Eleanor were spotted at the Botallack restaurant. Is the on-screen couple taking their romance to new levels, by dating in real life? It is not known whether it was a date. The two co-stars have never commented on their relationship status.
As rumored previously, Ross will not die in the new season. He is the lead actor and “Poldark” will not be what it is without his character.
All the characters in “Poldark” season 2 will have a struggle with each other. Eleanor Tomlinson will also be back as Ross’s long-suffering wife Demelza, along with Heida Reed as Elizabeth.
Elizabeth was Ross’s first love and gets married to his cousin Francis, thinking him to be dead. Other characters returning to the show include Jack Farthing as the wicked George Warleggan (Elizabeth’s second husband), Ruby Bentall as Verity, Luke Norris as Dr Dwight Enys, Gabriella Wilde as Caroline Penvenen, John Nettles as Ray Penvenen and Caroline Blakiston as Aunt Agatha.
But, the new season has some new characters including Harry Richardson and Tom York as Demelza’s brothers Drake and Sam along with Ellise Chappell as Elizabeth’s cousin Morwenna.
Aidan Turner, 33, and his co-star Eleanor were pictured filming the upcoming season 3 of “Poldark” at the Botallack Mine in Cornwall on Thursday. The Irish actor however kept his shirt on firmly as he got to work, Daily Mail reports.
“We’re thrilled to be kicking off series three with a fantastic array of new characters and a story which scales new heights of conflict, feuding, passion and drama,” said writer Debbie Horsfield, BBC reports.
“Poldark” season 2 premieres with a two-hour episode on Sunday, Sep. 25 at 8/7c on PBS. The series will then continue from Oct.2 to Nov.27 on Sundays at 9/8c.
