Pokémon Sun and Moon Leak
Earlier this year, a lot of details about the game have cropped up. If the trailer is any indication, the Aloha region will offer more than just the usual Pokémon game. In fact, Kotaku lists some of the things people should expect from the game:
- The game does not have traditional gyms.
- The starters would evolve into an archer, wrestler, and a siren.
- “Diamonds,” which are relatively similar to Mega Stones, could help Pokémon to transform in some way.
- New monsters would take inspiration from a dolphin, a snowman, and a sea cucumber. There would also be a “football monkey.”
While it was still unconfirmed whether the game will omit the gyms, a post on the Pokemon site might as well have hinted about it:
“One aspect of the unique culture that has developed in the Alola region is the island challenge, an adventurous rite that involves traveling through each of the four islands. This event helps young people grow into fine Pokémon Trainers. As the main character of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, you yourself are destined to attempt this island challenge.”
