What's This?

Nintendo has made an announcement today that will excite Pokemon fans. The original Pokemon games are coming to the 3DS. Pokemons Red, Blue and Yellow will be re-released with no change in content.

The games will have online connectivity that will allow the players to deal with others without cable connectivity. The cable cord that was previously needed to connect users will not be required anymore. This means trading among users will become easy and convenient with wireless connectivity which is a brilliant addition by Nintendo.

Pokemon Blue, Yellow and Red will be available in the 3DS eShop as digital download. The release date is determined as February 27, 2016, 20 years after the original dates Pokemon Red and Blue were released. The two games had a Japanese release in 1996.

Nintendo mentioned that it has tried to keep the original essence of the game as much as possible. However, these games had some glitches and problems. We hope that these are rectified in the new versions of the games. Fans were asking for Pokemon Yellow, Blue and Red for a long time now, and their wait will be over in a few months.

Apart from retouching the classic Pokemon games, Nintendo also announced a “Free-to-start” Pokemon Picross game. The game in question will be available in the market early December.
