While most maps out there gives you a restricted view of any specific city in the U.S., there are certain maps, which points out some of the rarest Pokemon spread out in the different cities in America.
WanderU serves an elaborate map as has been described, which has been prepared taking into account the following factors:
- Analyzing photos and videos posted by “Pokemon Go” players from over 250 cities in the U.S.
- Double-checking of special, mythical and epic Pokemon sightings using Twitter API account.
- Cross-matching the findings with the genre of Pokemon that has been reported to exist most in the respective cities.
Based on the map, one can know for certain that sightings of Dratini, Chansey, Lapras, Snorlax, Electabuzz, Hitmonlee, Aerodactyl, Porygon, and Kabuto have been reported in Los Angeles, which is considered to be a gold mine for catching rare Pokemon.
People who live or wish to travel to NYC, Chicago, Orlando, Boston or Seattle also stand a chance to catch rare Pokemon such as Hitmonchan, Snorlax, Porygon, Aerodactyl and Electabuzz.
However the map at WanderU does not take into account commonly found Pokemon such as Pikachu, Charmander and Bulbasaur. To check out where you can find these Pokemon within your city, check out the easy-to-follow Google map on Reddit that has now gone viral!
