‘Pokemon Go’ Tips: How To Catch Kangaskhan, Tauros, Mr. Mime, & Farfetch’d?
Have you come across Legendary Pokemon Kangaskhan, Tauros, Mr. Mime, and Farfetch’d on “Pokemon Go” yet? That might be because these are region exclusive Pokemon found only in certain parts of the world!Advertisement
Catching Pokemon and completing the Pokedex isn’t as easy as you thought it would be. One of the main reasons is that it has gotten pretty hard for players from the U.S. to get their hands on 4 particular rare/Legendary Pokemon that are said to be unavailable in America.
Kangaskhan, Tauros, Mr. Mime, and Farfetch’d are four elusive Pokemon which requires one to take a trip around the world. Unfortunately, not all the players have the resources to do that and hence have to be satisfied with just completing the North American Pokedex.
‘Pokemon Go’ Tips
Such a person is Nick Johnson, from Brooklyn, who became the first man to “catch ‘em all”, minus the region specific Pokemon. He told us in an exclusive interview that he is definitely willing to venture abroad to catch the remaining Pokemon if given an opportunity.
“There are actually three Pokemon that are region-specific that I don’t have (Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, and Farfetch’d) as they aren’t available in the U.S. I’m looking for a travel company to partner with to help me travel to catch these remaining Pokemon!” he said.
While Tauros might be rare in the U.S. there have been definite sightings of the Pokemon in desert-like areas of North America. None have been reported so far in South America.
Legendary Pokemon Location:
- Kangaskhan: Mostly found in cities and parks of Australia, even though “Pokemon Go” players have reported sightings in New Zealand too.
- Mime: Mostly found in relevant places like landmarks inside the cities of the UK and Europe in general.
- Farfetch’d: Can be found mostly in parks city centres near Japan and South Korea, even though some sightings have been reported in other parts of Asia too.
According to Heavy, you can also get your hands on area-specific Pokemon by hatching 5K and 10K eggs.
