Legendary Pokémon are powerful Pokémon that have not appeared yet in Pokemon GO. There are five such characters, and people are eagerly waiting to know them and find them. In fact, legendary Pokémons like Mewtwo, Mew, Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres have been discovered by a Pokémon Go fan.
Players of Pokemon Go worldwide are on a trial to hit upon these pocket critters. Interestingly, NesstendoYT, a Youtuber tried to search for the legendary Pokémons by delving deep into the gaming code. And, as luck would have it, the player was rewarded for his search.
His search led him to the discovery of the legendary Pokémon. Apart from the three legendary birds — Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, and Mew and Mewto, he also discovered “Ditto” hidden within the source code of Pokémon Go, Mobile&Apps reports. Hence, now players are going gaga over possibly catching these collectible critters and desirable little beasts.
However, these sought-after monsters are just some distance away in the real world. These are some of the first generation Pokémon that are yet to be caught in Pokémon Go.
There is some good news in store for players who have filled up their Pokédex past no. 147. These monsters are there as part of the list, Yahoo reports.
Meanwhile whoever finds rare Pokémon like Ditto, Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos and Mewtwo will be presented as award of $5,000, but $100 will be given out to a random player till July 24, Polygon reports.
The contest has been hosted by “Ripley’s Believe It Or Not.” These monsters cannot be caught through normal means. Hence, the three teams — Mystic, Instinct, and Valor may vie for these shortly.
Meanwhile, Niantic Labs, the creators of the game are yet to comment on the Ditto legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Go. And, no players have yet found one. However, according to rumors doing the rounds, the legendary Pokémon may soon be dropped by Niantic Labs in its promotional events.
