People — ordinary and celebritiess alike are going gaga with Pokemon Go. In particular, people are going crazy with “Diglett,” the phallic-shaped Pokemon. Well, it should not be phallic-shaped had not users imply it is…but now that it is, then it’s hard to remove that thought from our minds.
Ironically, Pokemon GO players are not letting this one go, posting all the fun they are having, catching Diglett and posting this on their social media (see photos below).
According to BuzzFeed, it is a trend that cannot be rid soon, to the dismay of some, and the delight of others. Some pictures of the “Diglett” that has gone viral and more about its features can be read here.
Meanwhile, Pokémon Go has also taken Hollywood by storm. The Kardashian-Jenner family want to be a part of the game and mint mega bucks.
“Kim, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie want to get involved with Pokémon Go. They want to figure out a way to become a celebrity update to the game in the very near future,” a source said speaking to Hollywood Life. Kim and her sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner already have mobile games that have raked in the moolah for them.
The insider added that the family knows the money-making potential of Pokemon GO, having their own emojis (Kimojis) and want to do something with it. Kim has recently been featured on the cover of Forbes magazine as a “mobile mogul.” The reality TV star and entrepreneur has made a whopping $45 million from her video game app, “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood.”
Though Pokémon has been there for more than 20 years, there has never been a celebrity tie-up to the game. So players of Pokémon GO may get to see the Kardashian-Jenner sisters sooner or later. Meanwhile, since the release of the game, there have been many instances of people being injured, and also losing their jobs for playing Pokémon GO.
In another hilarious development related to Pokémon GO, singer and songwriter John Mayer, all of 38 years, spent a whopping $100 to but Pokecoins while playing Pokémon GO on Sunday. In fact, in his obsession to play the game, Mayer bought 14,500 Pokecoins, a picture of which he shared with his followers on Instagram.
Even Ellen DeGeneres, 58, could not help herself from being a fan of Pokémon GO she also took to social media and shared a selfie with a Pokémon in the background.
