PewDiePie YouTube Channel Hits 10 Billion Views
PewDiePie, YouTube sensation, has made history reaching 10 billion views in his game-oriented channel. He took Twitter to announce his accomplishment on September 6 where he revealed the big figure.
PewDiePie, whose real name is Felix Kjellberg, was in news lately for having made $ 7.5 million in 2014 from his YouTube gaming account. Kjellberg is well-known for his YouTube account as well as other game-related sites, reported Arcadesushi.
Felix Kjellberg posted on Twitter: “Today we made history! 10 billion views! THIS IS INSANE. Thank you all so much! Kisses”
The milestone of 10 billion views might not be impressive for a few but it is worth noting that the current population on earth is 7 billion and it would take another 65 years to hit the projected mark.

Each of PewDiePie’s video averages 4.04 million views. “Funny Montage #1,” released on June 4, 2013, is his biggest hit with 68.8 million views and “Bulletstorm Highlights,” uploaded on February 28, 2011 marks the lowest with 35,695 views.
Kjellberg’s YouTube channel has average views of 5.5 million per day, 231,350 per hour and 3,855 views per minute. Based on a report from Tube Filter PewDiePie has over 39 million subscribers by far.
